Congratulations to the winners of the 11th Annual North Carolina Black Film Festival. The four-day juried festival, held March 22-25, 2012, showcased features, shorts, documentaries and animation.

Our 2012 honorees were Eleanor Nichols, who received the festival's Nova Award for Production Achievement and Mike Wiley, who received the festival's inaugural Excellence in Acting award for his riveting retelling of the Emmett Till incident.
