2023 NCBFF Honoree Emerging Filmmaker 

Tailiah Breon

Tailiah Breon is a Carolina raised and Atlanta based Filmmaker and Editorial Photographer. In 2016 she launched her company Fashion Prodigy LLC and moved to Atlanta where she began interning and cultivating a craft as an editor and camera operator for music videos which eventually evolved into directing, writing, and producing films; with a focus on storytelling that brings a progressive perspective to humanity and black culture. Her southern roots, social awareness and artistic eye has been her contribution to stories that help shape the black experience and turn them into an emotional and visual art.

Tailiah is taking the visual styles of her music video experience as a director, camera operator and editor for artists like Missy Elliott, Fantasia, Faith Evans, Vivian Greene, etc. and merging it into the filmmaking arena. Her story telling ranges far from Drama's, Psychological Thrillers all the way to Family Romantic Comedies and Holiday Movies. She has produced for Lifetime Movie "LUST". Directed Lifetime's Thriller, "Line Sisters", "Kirk Franklin's The Night Before Christmas", ABFF selected short film "She Had to Ask", PVIFF's Award Winning "Grief" the short film and directed and written for several other scripted and non-scripted projects.
